Nymmeth The Dragon - Junior Flamewarden, First Post
When young dragons finish their training and earn their first real job, they often get something glamorous — a treasure hoard to guard, a spellforge to tend, the odd cursed crypt…
Nymmeth got a tower to guard. Complete with a cynical princess.
At first, it all seemed rather exciting. Nymmeth polished her scales. Practised her intimidating growl. Chased off each less-than-impressive knight that came to ‘rescue’ the Princess. But as the months crawl by and the princess sighs into her teacup for the hundredth time, Nymmeth begins to question if this is really the destiny she was hatched for.
And as Nymmeth’s unlikely friendship with the Princess grows, it leads to large, unpredictable questions. The kind Nymmeth probably shouldn’t be wondering about.
The Princess Problem letters chart Nymmeth’s growing realisation that watching over someone isn’t the same as truly seeing them — and that courage doesn’t always look like fire and teeth.
